On October 15, 2025, HAYLION participated in the Auto 100 Summit’s Europe-Africa Session in Shenzhen, a high-level event focusing on automotive supply chain globalization. Hosted by the Auto 100 Institute and co-organized by the G100 platform, the forum gathered nearly 100 representatives from global governments, enterprises, and academia to explore Chinese automakers’ overseas expansion amid global industrial shifts.
HAYLION’s International CEO Peter Sharp shared the company’s strategy to penetrate the EU market with its eMaaS (Electric Mobility-as-a-Service) ecosystem. He noted dual challenges for Chinese EVs in Europe: historical "low-price, low-quality" prejudices and stringent data security/compliance barriers, while highlighting opportunities in intelligent features and cost competitiveness.

HAYLION’s confidence stems from its replicable success with Hong Kong’s BIG 0 BEE taxi project—a full-chain solution covering customized vehicles, dispatch algorithms, control centers, and dual-end apps, certified by Hong Kong’s Transport Department. Backed by investments from Volkswagen’s Scania and Toyota’s Hino, the company boasts core strengths in eMaaS (EV intelligence, skid-mounted charging, smart management) and energy tech (the world-leading PV-Storage-DC-Flexibility project at Shenzhen SCPG Center).
Its EU strategy adopts dual-wheel localization: software (EU language adaptation, joint encryption with local firms) and hardware (co-branded charging stations with Shell/TotalEnergies). It will replicate the BIG 0 BEE model via fleet partnerships, offering "vehicle leasing + charging + driver apps" with profit-sharing. To build trust, HAYLION plans a Europe-operated "data embassy" for GDPR compliance and pre-certification to exceed EU standards.
Aligned with the G100 platform’s mission, HAYLION aims to evolve "Made in China" into "globally trusted system solutions," expanding from ground to low-altitude mobility (via its AAM Innovation Center) and driving high-quality globalization of China’s automotive industry.
